vASA is not a real airline. We are a virtual airline.
If you’re looking for the real Alaska Airlines, that’s not us.
A virtual airline is a group of aviation enthusiasts simulating the real world operations of an actual airline — in our case, Alaska Airlines — through the use of several flight simulation video games like Prepar3d, X-Plane, and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
We do not book flights, trips, hotels, cars, trains, ferries, or buses. Please go back to Google and find your preferred travel purveyor if you have come here by mistake.

Accurate Flight Schedules
vASA’s schedules are built with data from a high quality commercial airline schedule provider. Our schedules include Alaska’s mainline and regional flights, all of which are updated regularly. We also include a selection of historic timetables!
Standard Operating Procedures
Our pilots will benefit from a growing body of documentation and SOPs built on knowledge and experience drawn from the many real world aviation professionals in our community. This feeds into vAMSYS which provides automatic, procedure based PIREP scoring!
Built on the Modern vAMSYS Platform
Our VA runs on vAMSYS, the latest and most powerful virtual airline management system available. With SimBrief integration built in, you will be able to quickly choose your flight, generate a detailed briefing package, and get flying!
A Unique Atmosphere
Our community is curated with adults in mind, but we don’t believe in corporate role play. We have no CEO, and this isn’t a pretend job. We’re flight simmers first, and aim for a unique virtual airline experience that is realistic where it counts and laid back where it doesn’t.
We encourage all of our pilots to fly online with any of the major online ATC providers — VATSIM, PilotEdge, or IVAO — though we do not require it. Offline flying is perfectly fine!
We are also working towards future designation as a VATSIM VA Partner, though we are not at this time.
